The US organization Revcom (Revolutionary Communists) issued a call to protest on Friday, May 12 at 2:30 pm at the San Ysidro checkpoint against the US government's immigration policies, which they consider to act "as if it were an invasion, sending a message of fear".

Revcom called for the following: "If it hurts you to the core to see our brothers and sisters at the border, going through these terrible conditions, if you want to be able to do something to help them and millions more, you must be part of this force that is fighting for the emancipation of all humanity."

This condemnation of the handling of the humanitarian crisis by both governments adds to the dozens of voices from organizations that have denounced the conditions that migrants live in and the criminalization to which they are subject.

"We call on you to join the revcom, to be part of the fight against all of this, as part of the preparation for the revolution. Spread this revolution, spread these slogans and posters available at revcom.us. Put them everywhere, reaching all those who are agonizing over what is happening. Be part of awakening others and giving them real hope," the revolutionary communists demanded.
