This is due to maintenance of the Desalination Plant

A comprehensive maintenance will be carried out on the Cabo San Lucas desalination plant on Monday, February 19, and Tuesday, February 20, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the desalination infrastructure and recover the necessary liters per second to supply the neighborhoods.

The neighborhoods affected by this corrective maintenance shutdown are: Altamira Plus Phase 2 condominiums, Altamira condominiums, Altamira I and II, Portales, Bella Vista, Progreso, Tierra y Libertad, Rosa Delia, Chula Vista, Palmas I and II, Mesa Colorada I, Llantera el Gordo (blocks 41, 46, 33, and 34), Hojazen, Caracoles, Reforma, Lomas del Pacífico, and Los Cangrejos I.

This information was provided by those responsible for the drinking water supply at the Operation and Maintenance Directorate. Currently, the volume of drinking water available for distribution in the Cabo San Lucas Delegation is estimated at a total of 460 liters per second, considering the sum of aqueducts 1 and 2, wells 4, 4 Bis, well 5 "El Chaparro," and the desalination plant. This allows distribution to other sectors of the Delegation.

Once the maintenance work by the plant personnel is completed, the supply of drinking water to the affected neighborhoods will be restored, with the aim of avoiding additional delays in water supply to said sectors.
