La Paz will be the hottest area

The capital of Baja California Sur will be the warmest region in the state in the coming days, with temperatures potentially reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius. This figure represents only a slight decrease compared to the previous week, when highs hovered around 42 degrees.

Dispersed rainfall is also expected in various parts of the state, resulting from low-pressure channels interacting with Pacific Ocean moisture. This phenomenon will continue to influence local weather over the next few days.

Additionally, a Mexican monsoon pattern has been established over the northwest of the country, which could bring intense precipitation to areas near Baja California Sur.

Among the areas most affected by high temperatures are El Vizcaíno, Santa Rosalía, and Heroica Mulegé, with values ranging between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius during the hottest hours of the day. Similar conditions are forecasted for Ciudad Constitución over the weekend.

Conversely, locations like Los Cabos, Loreto, and occasionally Guerrero Negro, El Vizcaíno, and Ciudad Constitución will experience maximum temperatures between 33 and 36 degrees Celsius.

Coastal areas along the Pacific, such as Pacífico Norte, San Juanico, San Carlos, and Todos Santos, will have more moderate maximum temperatures, fluctuating between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius. Nighttime temperatures are expected to drop considerably in areas like El Vizcaíno, Guerrero Negro, and Ciudad Constitución, ranging from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.

Overall, the sky will remain mostly clear to partly cloudy, a typical pattern for this season, with occasional isolated showers similar to those experienced last weekend. No significant hydrometeorological systems are anticipated to form that would affect Mexican coasts in the coming days.
