Yazmín Jauregui, from Baja California, declared herself ready for her fight this Saturday, July 8th, against Brazilian Denise Gomez, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, as part of the UFC 290 card.

"I'm already prepared for the fight; we're less than a week away, and I'm happy and grateful to be able to participate in this event with so many Mexicans. Let's do this," commented Yazmín Jáuregui in an interview with Baja News.

"We had a long and tough training camp; all my camps have been like that, and this one was no exception. Now it's time to have fun and give our best," added the fighter, born in Playas de Rosarito but currently residing in Tijuana.

She mentioned that this week is only about "sweating, maintaining our weight, staying mentally focused on the fight strategy, and enjoying it this Saturday."

Mexican fighter Yazmín Jáuregui will enter the fight with a record of 10 wins, no draws, and no losses, while Denise Gomez holds a record of 7-2-0.

"Thank you very much for all the support from the fans. It truly means a lot, and I know all of you will be there in Las Vegas, sending us good vibes," she concluded.
