Francisco Javier Rodríguez Solís, affectionately known as "Paco" within the athletic community, passed away at the age of 71 after suffering a sudden heart attack while jogging on the track at the CREA Sports Complex. His brother, Germán Rodríguez Solís, reported that Paco collapsed on the track and was immediately taken to Tijuana General Hospital, but sadly, he had already passed away upon arrival.

Germán, a sports promoter and administrator of the page "Yo También Corro en Tijuana," shared the heartbreaking news on social media, fondly recalling the moments shared with his brother and Paco's passion for running.

"You left us, Paco, doing what you loved most, running the final lap of your life. God wanted to take you. We will miss you. One day, we will meet again. I will remember you with much love, my dear brother," Germán expressed in his message.
