The taqueria El Pastor Del Rica has opened its doors in Chula Vista, California, featuring the presence of Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, who is a business partner with his brother, Ricardo Álvarez, in this venture.

Located at 645 Broadway, the taqueria is a franchise inspired by the flavors of tacos that originated in Guadalajara, Mexico.

“To everyone from Tijuana and the surrounding areas here in Chula Vista, come and try them for yourselves and judge… I love San Diego; it’s my second home,” commented Saúl Álvarez.

The establishment, which used to be an auto parts store, has been remodeled and adapted to resemble an authentic Mexican taqueria. According to Saúl Álvarez’s palate, it serves “the best taco in the world.”

At present, Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez does not have an upcoming fight scheduled.
