Son of the boxing legend faces more trouble

After losing to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in Anaheim, Julio César Chávez Jr. has been arrested and is now facing deportation to Mexico. The exact charges against him remain unclear.

According to information that surfaced in recent hours, Chávez Jr. was taken into custody Thursday by U.S. Marshals in Los Angeles and is expected to be deported in the coming hours.

Chávez Jr., 39, is the son of boxing legend Julio César Chávez and is originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa.

The bout between Paul and Chávez Jr. was a 10-round cruiserweight fight, during which the son of the Mexican boxing icon faced heavy criticism for his performance.
