A shooting at Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, left at least four people dead and five injured on Monday. The local police chief indicated that they believe the attacker was a student at the school, who was found dead at the scene of the attack.

The incident occurred just before 11:00 a.m. local time on the campus located on East Buckeye Road. The police reported that the hospitalized individuals have injuries ranging from minor to severe. "This is a very sad day, not just for Madison, but for the country," said the police chief.

Authorities have maintained the area as an active crime scene and are urging the public to stay away from the area as the investigation continues. Abundant Life School, founded in 1978, has around 335 students and offers education from kindergarten through high school.
