A secondary school student was assaulted by another student who apparently felt reprimanded by her. The incident occurred in a classroom at Institute 1, located in the Analco neighborhood near Saltillo.

Surveillance cameras at the school captured the incident, in which a 14-year-old boy is seen standing in front of the blackboard. The teacher, identified as Patricia Eugenia Burciaga Dávila, 59 years old, got up from her seat and headed toward the classroom door. At that moment, the young student stabbed her three times in the back and struck her on the head. The teacher fell to the floor, and the minor fled the classroom, shocking the other students.

The State Attorney General's Office reported that the teacher is receiving treatment at an ISSSTE clinic, while the teenager was apprehended by school staff and transported to an IMSS hospital, as he suffered an injury to his right hand during the attack. It has also been disclosed that the minor is in the custody of the specialized Public Ministry agency for adolescent cases.
