In the Mariano Matamoros neighborhood, this Sunday, a ministerial agent was shot outside his residence in the city of Tijuana.

According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred while the agent was washing his truck, a moment captured by a local surveillance camera.

The event was discovered by a neighbor who alerted emergency services after noticing a wounded man next to his vehicle. The agent was declared dead at the scene by Red Cross paramedics.

Authorities revealed that the alleged perpetrator of the crime quickly fled the scene, boarding a possibly green Ford Escape.

Following the agent's murder, a strong operation by various law enforcement agencies was deployed in the surrounding areas in search of the alleged perpetrator.
