On Sunday night, a heavy police presence was deployed to a plaza in Chula Vista after reports that two people had been shot at a taco shop on Hilltop Drive, according to authorities.

Chula Vista Police confirmed to FOX 5/KUSI that officers responded to calls about gunshots at the “Tu Taco Taco Shop,” located in the 1400 block of Hilltop Drive in Chula Vista.

Upon arrival, police found two individuals with gunshot wounds who were taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

Currently, there are no suspects in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
