A man was severely injured by a gunshot wound to the head while he was outside an apartment complex in the Colinas del Alamar neighborhood, in the Cerro Colorado district. The incident took place on Tuesday night on Lago Hondo Street, in front of building 4801-B, in Tijuana.

According to unofficial reports, the event was reported to the 911 emergency number around 8:34 p.m. Neighbors in the area reported hearing several gunshots and saw a person lying on the ground near the Xóchitl grocery store.

Municipal Police officers arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim had sustained a head injury caused by a gunshot. Due to the severity of the situation, the officers requested the presence of Red Cross paramedics, who transported the man to a hospital for urgent medical attention.

So far, no details have been released regarding the identity of the victim or his current condition.
