On Sunday, August 25, at around 9:00 a.m., a fatal accident occurred on 8 de Mayo Street in the 10 de Mayo neighborhood, claiming the life of a young man. 

According to witnesses, the victim had just purchased food from a birria taco stand and was walking along the street when a gray Honda Civic, allegedly speeding, struck him. The impact was so severe that the man was dragged several meters.

The collision caused a severe head injury, rendering the victim nearly unrecognizable. Unofficial reports estimate that the victim was between 18 and 20 years old.

The area was cordoned off by municipal police officers as forensic experts and investigators from the district attorney's office conducted their inquiries.
