Vehicle With Possible Links Found

In the early hours of Monday, the Vía Rápida Oriente in Tijuana became the scene of a gruesome discovery: three bodies were found wrapped in black plastic bags and tied with yellow rope near the Monte de Los Olivos cemetery.

The report was received at around 3:00 a.m., when a citizen alerted authorities to the presence of suspicious bundles on the shoulder lane. Police sources said the victims, who remain unidentified, showed clear signs of violence; one had a visible head injury.

According to preliminary investigations, security cameras captured the suspected perpetrators in a white Honda Odyssey minivan with a damaged left taillight, which was seen driving through the area before returning to dump the bags and then heading toward Mesa de Otay.

Hours later, authorities located a vehicle that may be connected to the triple homicide. The sand-colored Buick sedan, bearing California plates, was found abandoned on the sidewalk along Bernardo O’Higgins Boulevard. State Force officers detected bloodstains inside and immediately notified the State Attorney General’s Office, which began the corresponding procedures.

Police and investigative personnel secured the scenes in Tijuana, redirecting traffic in both areas to preserve evidence. The State Attorney General’s Office’s Homicide Unit continues to investigate the case in order to clarify the events and identify those responsible.
