Influencer Camilo Ochoa Delgado, 42, was shot dead Saturday afternoon in the Lomas de Cuernavaca neighborhood. According to official reports, armed men stormed a residence shortly before 5 p.m. and opened fire on him.

Ochoa rose to prominence several years ago after an interview with journalist Adela Micha, in which he admitted to having been linked to organized crime in the past. His remarks sparked controversy and made him trend on social media, where he amassed thousands of followers.

Witnesses said one of the attackers wore a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and a mask. After the shooting, he fled in a white Chevrolet. At the time of the attack, the victim was wearing a black shirt, gray pants, and sneakers.

Family members of the influencer alerted authorities after hearing the gunfire and confirming the presence of armed men inside the home. Security forces responded to the scene to begin investigations, though no arrests have been reported so far.
