The lifeless body of Olga Lidia Obeso Castro, a professor at the University of the Californias Internacional (UDCI), was found inside her vehicle in Playas de Tijuana on Sunday afternoon.

The 58-year-old professor had been reported missing since November 6, after being last seen leaving her home in the Obrera Segundo Sección neighborhood.

The discovery took place on Sunday, November 19, in the afternoon when a citizen reported a foul odor coming from a red Ford Escape parked near Parque México in the Jardines de Playas de Tijuana section.

The corpse was in an advanced state of decomposition and wrapped in a blanket in the cargo area of the vehicle. Despite the deterioration, it could be identified that the body belonged to a woman with light brown dyed hair, dressed in a dress and a black jacket.

The family of Professor Obeso Castro has confirmed her death through social media, thanking the community for their assistance in spreading the search information.
