Residents of San Ysidro, California, have observed an increase in robberies, generating concern within the community. This Wednesday morning, neighbors reported seeing a man lurking around homes and witnessed daylight robberies.

Ruth Díaz, one of the witnesses to the incidents, shared her experience with BajaNews, expressing her concern about the rise in robberies in the area in recent months. The incidents took place specifically at the intersection of Avery Rd and Beyer Streets, where residents were confronted by the presence of the suspect.

Díaz recounts that when confronting the individual and questioning him about the incidents, he quickly fled, leaving the impression of being under the influence of toxic substances. This description has heightened security concerns among San Ysidro residents, who are demanding immediate action from authorities.

So far, the San Ysidro police have not issued any statement regarding these events. Faced with growing fear and a sense of vulnerability in the community, San Ysidro residents are on high alert, urging local authorities to promptly address this troubling increase in crime.
